Introduction to Plox
What Plox is, who it's for, and the mental model for getting the most out of it.
Plox Tip
If you've ever sent a pitch deck and wondered "did they actually read it?" — that's the gap Plox fills.
Plox is the secure document workspace for founders, dealmakers, and teams who care about how their content is seen. Share files, build data rooms, control access, and watch real-time analytics — all without leaving the link.
The big idea#
Plox replaces the "attach-and-hope" workflow with trackable, revocable links. Every file you share lives in your Plox workspace, every recipient gets a controlled link, and every view leaves a fingerprint you can act on.
That gives you three things you can't get with email or Drive:
- Control — passcode, NDA, email verification, screenshot protection, and revocation per link.
- Visibility — page-level analytics on who read what, for how long, and where they stopped.
- Speed — update a deck after sending without resending the link.
Two ways to share#
| Best for | Looks like | |
|---|---|---|
| Documents | Single-file sends: pitch decks, contracts, proposals. | A trackable link to one file. |
| Data Rooms | Multi-file experiences: fundraising, due diligence, M&A. | A branded mini-site with folders, story, and metrics. |
If you're not sure, start with a Document. You can always group multiple docs into a Data Room later.
A typical workflow#
- Upload your file into Plox.
- Configure access — email gate, passcode, NDA, watermark, download permission.
- Share the link anywhere — email, Slack, calendar invite, LinkedIn DM.
- Watch analytics as your viewers engage.
- Follow up with the people who spent the most time on the most important pages.
