💡 Plox Tip: Use a password when you want to protect access, but don’t want the friction of email collection or OTP. Just make sure your recipient knows the password in advance!
Head to your Documents tab
Find the document you want to protect
Click the three dots (•••) on the far-right side of the document row
The Access Controls side panel will open
Find the “Require Password to View” option
Click the toggle to turn it on
You’ll be prompted to enter and confirm a password of your choice
Save changes
Now, anyone trying to view the document will need to enter that exact password before they can see its content.
Add a simple but effective layer of security
